No Compromise #43: The Day Boy and the Night Girl, by George MacDonald

Jenny and I discuss a famous "fairytale" by the man C. S. Lewis called his "Master," George MacDonald, The Day Boy and the Night Girl, or The Romance of Photogen and Nycteris, a story rich in meaning and delight. This story picks up on many of the important themes of Paradise Lost, so we thought it a fitting way to close out our series on Milton. By the end of our discussion it becomes plain that we will have to give this work a further airing next week, as Jenny makes it clear that John's reading is a bit one-sided!
